After a successful band festival experience, the seventh and eighth grade bands will present their spring concert on Tuesday, May 6th in the Mabry Theater. The students have been working hard to prepare a program for you. The 7th Concert Band should report to the band room at 6:40 to organize for the concert. They will perform at 7 pm. The 7th Symphonic Band should report to the band room at 7:00. They will perform at 7:20. The 8th Concert Band should report to the band room at 7:30. They will perform at 7:50 pm. The 8th Symphonic Band should report to the band room at 7:50. They will perform at 8:15 pm. All groups should wear nice school clothes, however, please exclude t-shirts, jeans, shorts and tennis shoes.
While students are welcome to stay and hear the other groups, this is not a requirement. Seating is limited in the theater, and we want to make sure there is adequate seating for families hearing their child perform. So if you wish to leave after your child’s performance, feel free to do so. We look forward to seeing you there!
